Funding available for cyber-resilience projects
Funding has been made available by the
UK Government to the Welsh Government to support the implementation
of the
UK National Cyber Security Strategy 2016-2021.
The funding is designed to support the
strategic outcomes and success measures outlined in the strategy,
within which Welsh Government has also identified priorities for
Wales. The primary purpose of the funding is to make Wales more
cyber resilient – including awareness raising, evaluation and
research.
Funding
There is a total of £200,000 funding
available to be split between successful applications, depending on
the amount applications received. The successful applications must
also be shared among several priority areas.
Application process
Applications can be made by individual
organisations, or partnerships of several organisations, from the
public, private or voluntary sectors.
The organisation must be:
- based in Wales
- be undertaking the project in Wales
- directly support Welsh Government priorities in relation to
cyber resilience (as identified in Annex A of the attached
application form).
The closing date for applications is
19 July 2018.Applications must be submitted using the official
application form attached to this article.
