Welsh charities encouraged to apply for Weston Charity Awards
The Awards celebrate and support great
front-line charities in the North of England, the Midlands and
Wales working in the fields of youth, welfare and community.
Charities with incomes under £5 million can apply from
3rd December 2018 and by 11th January
2019.
Last year, five charities in Wales were among
the 20 winners. The Welsh winners were:
- Cardiff City FC Community Foundation
- GISDA in Gwynedd
- Recovery Cymru in Cardiff
- Swansea Young Single Homeless Project
- Paul Sartori Hospice at Home in Pembrokeshire
They have all been matched with volunteer
business coaches called Pilotlighters and are currently
participating in a programme of strategic planning and mentoring.
