2017 EESC Civil Society Prize

The ninth edition of the EESC civil society prize was launched in June. The prize has a total value of 50,000 EUR which can be shared between up to 5 organisations.

Eligible activities could include:

• providing advice and guidance to unemployed people in relation to labour market integration (e.g. job coaching, job counselling, information and advice)
• providing individualised learning and training to upskill/reskill vulnerable people to enhance their employability and empower them
• providing disadvantaged groups with regular employment in a protected, enabling environment, ensuring an effective transition into regular employment
