Brexit and our land: Securing the future of Welsh farming
Consultation

Welsh Government are consulting on the proposals for a planned,
multi-year transition and seeking views on:

  • A new land management programme consisting of an
Economic Resilience Scheme and a Public Goods Scheme.
  • How the specific schemes that will deliver the support
    should be designed.

This
consultation
is an important opportunity for all
stakeholders – farming and forestry related businesses,
environmental organisations, local authorities, members of the
public, professional bodies and others – to provide their views on
what actions we should take to support land managers after we leave
the European Union. The closing date for the consultation
is
30 October 2018.
