ESF Projects

For European Social Fund projects only, nominations will be shortlisted in the following categories:

Category 1: Best individual achievement (aged 25+ years)

Category 2: Best individual achievement (aged 11-24 years)

The Welsh European Funding Office (WEFO) would like to hear about the success stories of individuals who have seized opportunities presented by the European Social Fund, going above and beyond to develop new skills, secure a job or find a new career path.

For all projects (ESF and ERDF)

Category 3: Best application of cross cutting themes into an EU project

WEFO welcome applications that have successfully embedded the cross-cutting themes: sustainable development, equality and/ or gender mainstreaming and tackling poverty into their activities.

For example, if your project has introduced activity which enhances the natural environment or applied measures which support a workplace in which everyone has the opportunity to succeed, we would like to hear from you.

How to apply

To take part, sponsors should complete an application form and send to: WEFO-Communications@gov.wales

It is possible to nominate more than one person per category.

Closing date for entries is 20 October 2017.

Winners will be announced by the Finance Secretary, Mark Drakeford, at the EU Funds Information Event on 30 November.
