Help us shape the future of Funding Wales

Funding Wales, Third Sector Support Wales (TSSW)’s free funding search tool – has been helping organisations across the country to source funding since 2019. Since then, use of the system has been growing and we are taking stock and looking at what’s good about it and what could be enhanced, with the aim of developing it further and ensuring that organisations get full benefit from it.

We still need you!

To that end, we recently held some focus groups to gather opinions on Funding Wales, and how we can improve the platform to make it even easier for you to find funding opportunities.

The focus groups were extremely valuable and have given us some wonderful insights and ideas to improve the experience of using Funding Wales for charities and voluntary organisations.

Share your views

But we need and want to hear from more voices to make sure we are on the right track! There are still two more opportunities to share your views on Funding Wales:

  1. Complete our brief questionnaire before 17 December 2021
  2. Join us for a discussion event on at 2pm 16 December 2021 to hear the initial findings from our research and share your comments on them. You can register for this event here: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/grwp-ffocws-defnyddwyr-cyllido-cymru-funding-wales-user-focus-group-tickets-217823675477

If neither of these option appeal, you can also contact the researcher directly before 17 December by emailing Martyn Palfreman at Martyn@mjpalfreman.co.uk, and either email your thoughts through or arrange to spend approx. 15 minutes chatting to Martyn directly by phone or video call.

What happens next?

Martyn will be reporting his findings to Third Sector Support Wales (who own and run Funding Wales) in January. Following this, we will be looking to implement the changes in the first half of 2022.
