Mobilising Voluntary Action

WCVA and Aberystwyth University are currently working with partners on a UK wide collaborative research study looking at volunteering during COVID-19.

‘Learning from today, prepared for tomorrow’.

WCVA and Aberystwyth University are working with Volunteer Scotland, NCVO and Volunteer Now and partner universities on a collaborative research project at based at Northumbria University to explore voluntary action during COVID-19.

The Mobilising Voluntary Action project will help build the evidence base for the impact of the pandemic on volunteering and the learning will generate recommendations to shape future policy and inform recovery.

We would like to hear from local authorities, Health Boards, County Voluntary Councils, and volunteer involving organisation in the voluntary, public or private sector in Wales to make sure the voices of those involved in communities, and those who have co-ordinated volunteering responses, are central to our understanding of the support needed going forwards.

Please share your experiences and views on volunteering during COVID and help us build a better picture of what is happening and make the case for volunteering support.
