Nominations open for Hearts for the Arts 2019

this year’s National Campaign for the Arts’ Hearts for the Arts
Awards. 

The Awards are an initiative of the National Campaign for the
Arts, an organisation that campaigns for greater public investment
in the arts to improve the lives of people across the UK. The
awards are delivered by UK Theatre, and judged by a panel of
esteemed figures in the arts.

From 12 September until voting closes on 2
November, members of the public, arts professionals and
local authorities can visit the Awards webpage to put nominations
forward for the following four categories:

Best Local Authority Arts Initiative

•            
Local Authority Arts Project Encouraging Community Cohesion

•            
Best Local Authority Arts Champion – Councillor

•            
Best Local Authority Arts Champion – Officer
