‘Six months into my exciting new role as Open Government Network Wales Officer, I thought it a good time to review what’s happening in Wales on the Open Government agenda, specifically linked to the Well-being Goals as set by the Well-being of Future Generations Act.

‘The Open Government Pioneers project aims to build the capacity of citizens and civil society across the United Kingdom to contribute and input to policy-making and service delivery in progressing the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in Wales through the Well-being Goals. It is a fantastic project to be involved with, and although I am only working on this two days a week, which has its limitations, we have made good inroads into linking to all the great work happening around the Well-being Goals, for example through working with the Co-Production Network Wales, the Office of the Future Generations Commissioner, the Equality and Human Rights Coalition, County voluntary Councils, Welsh Local Government Association, Environet Cymru and many others…’
