Help improve digital skills in the voluntary sector

We are looking for delivery partners to get involved in an exciting new project to help us improve the level of digital support available to the voluntary sector in Wales.

As part of Newid: Digital for the third sector, a partnership project funded by Welsh Government and delivered by WCVA, Wales Co-operative Centre and ProMo-Cymru, we are developing a programme of training and support that promotes and enables good digital practices across the voluntary sector in Wales.

We will be sharing knowledge and capturing insight from the sector to ensure more people and organisations can fully embrace and embed digital ways of working. We’ll be working closely with The Centre of Digital Public Services to raise awareness of the digital service standards for Wales and using person-centred approaches to create and improve services.

DELIVERY PARTNERS NEEDED

WCVA currently have four opportunities to get involved in Newid which are listed on Sell2Wales. The first three are the creation of online learning materials for TSSW’s Knowledge Hub in the following subject areas:

• Digital infrastructure
• Digital security and data
• Digital income generation

The fourth opportunity is an invitation to tender for the development and delivery of a digital skills training course for voluntary sector membership organisations.
