About the Role
As Marketing and Communications Manager you will play a lead
role in delivering a refreshed membership offer and engagement
programme placing members at the heart of everything you do.
You will provide leadership and line manage the Membership and
Marketing team.
This is a vital new role for the organisation – we want to
involve our members across our work, not simply as recipients of
services and member benefits but getting them actively involved in
shaping our work and achieving our vision for charities, social
enterprises and volunteers in Wales.

Salary: £31,093 increasing to £32,811 per annum
following 6-month probationary period.
Duration: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week. A flexi time scheme
is in operation and time off in lieu is permissible for any work
required to be undertaken outside the normal hours.

About You
The successful Marketing and Communications Manager will be a
skilled leader, the following skills and experience are essential
for the role:
- Significant relevant experience of working within membership,
marketing and/or communications, including growing and managing
multiple audiences - The ability to create engaging content and deliver this across
a range of channels including traditional, event, web, social and
email - Experience of running effective marketing and/or communication
campaigns to achieve successful outcomes - Capable of managing the delivery of high-quality outputs within
a bilingual environment
Although not essential, a working knowledge of the Welsh
language would be highly desirable, as would an understanding of
the voluntary sector in Wales.
A professional qualification and/or membership of a professional
body in a relevant area and knowledge of CRM systems would also
enhance your application.
