WCVA went wild this June to help nature and staff well-being

30 Days Wild
 is the UK’s month-long nature challenge run
by the Wildlife Trusts. Each year people are encouraged to do a
‘random act of wildness’ each day by spending some time outdoors or
learning about wildlife. 

It is important for people to get to know the nature surrounding
us, so we are better prepared to help our dwindling
wildlife and reconnect with the environment. Having recently
signed up to the 
‘Time to Change’
 pledge we also had an extra motive to
taking part; to help our staff combat stress and improve their
well-being. There are many studies which highlight the multiple
benefits of spending time in nature, but would the theory hold true
in practice?
