Opportunities to be part of the WCVA team
Membership and Marketing Manager (Welsh
essential)
This post will lead WCVA’s new Membership and Marketing team.
You will provide strong strategic leadership across our membership,
marketing and communications work, ensuring delivery is supported
by engaging learning and events programmes. The post will lead an
internal culture change, putting members are at the heart of all
our work.
Salary: £30,785 increasing to £32,486 per annum (following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period)
Base: Cardiff Bay, Aberystwyth or Rhyl
Social Investment Cymru Project Officer
As part of the Social Investment Cymru team you will assist in
the delivery of the Social Business Growth Fund, and you will be
providing innovative financial support to social businesses in
Wales. You will be a vital member of the team, assessing
applications for funding and supporting organisations both through
and beyond the point of securing investment.
Salary: £27,668 increasing to £29,323 per annum (following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period)
Base: Cardiff Bay or Rhyl
Receptionist – part time (Welsh essential)
We are looking to recruit two part time receptionists to share
the role split mornings and afternoons: Monday to Friday 8:30am to
12:30pm and 12.30pm to 4.30pm. The role will assist with the
provision of administrative services to WCVA properties in Cardiff
Bay, Rhyl and in Aberystwyth.
Salary: £17,419 increasing to £18,070 per annum (following
successful completion of six-month probationary period)
Base: Cardiff Bay
Claims Process Support Officer
Work pro-actively as part of a team and contribute to the
delivery of compliance and verifications within the Intermediate
Body function of WCVA.
Salary: £21,962 increasing to £23,398 per annum (following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period)
Base: Cardiff Bay or Rhyl
Finance and Payroll Support Officer
The post will provide monthly processing of payroll for WCVA, as
well as contributing to the day to day running of the finance
office and providing back-up support to the payroll bureau. You
will work with the Finance Manager to ensure that WCVA’s financial
practices are robust and meet best practice standards
Salary: £21,962 increasing to £23,398 per annum (following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period)
Base: Cardiff Bay
Part-time Finance Administrator – 21 hours
As Finance Administrator you will be responsible for ensuring
that WCVA’s day to day financial transactions are processed in a
timely and correct manner. You’ll work with our Finance Manager to
ensure that WCVA’s financial practices are robust and meet best
practice standards.
Salary: £17,419 increasing to £18,070 per annum pro-rata
(following successful completion of a six-month probationary
period)
Base: Cardiff Bay
Work pro-actively as part of a team and contribute to the
delivery of the performance and support function for the Active
Inclusion Fund.
Salary: £27,668 increasing to £29,323 per annum (following

Support Administrator (Welsh essential)
This post will provide support for the administration of WCVA
and Third Sector Support Wales’ digital systems, bilingual
servicing of WCVA’s main telephone line, and the operation of
WCVA’s Aberystwyth office.
Salary: £17,419 increasing to £18,070 per annum (following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period)
Base: Aberystwyth
Verification Process Support Officer
You will work pro-actively as part of a team contributing to the
delivery of compliance and verifications within the Intermediate
Body function of WCVA.
Salary: £21,962 increasing to £23,398 per annum following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
Base: Rhyl
In this role you will pro-actively support the management of
developing, implementing and delivering compliance and verification
for the Intermediate Body function of WCVA, to the highest level
and within budget.
Salary: £27,668 increasing to £29,323 per annum (following
successful completion of a six-month probationary period)
Base: Rhyl
About these posts
All posts will attract a maximum contribution of 9% of annual
salary to WCVA’s pension scheme or membership to the local
government pension scheme.
