Job title: Governance and Charity Officer (maternity cover)
Responsible to: Governance and Charity Advice Manager
Salary: Salary equivalent to NICVA scale G, NJC points 29 – 31 (£25,951 – £27,668 p.a.) Candidates are normally appointed on the first point on the scale.
About the role:
The Governance and Charity Advice Officer will deliver a high-quality specialist governance and charity advice service to voluntary and community organisations, including the provision of advice, training and the drafting of governing documents.
In addition to other essential and desirable criteria, by the closing date, applicants must demonstrate the following:
– Two years’ relevant working experience in a role requiring the practical application of knowledge and understanding of good governance and charity law.
- Demonstrable experience of providing specialist information and advice in response to queries.
- Degree level qualification (or equivalent).
- Proficient in the use of desktop applications such as Microsoft office and internet and email.
